We are seeking a skilled EITA Cable Engineer to handle cable and loop design for a large EPC project involving extensive new modules and modifications. The successful candidate will join a major project, gaining the opportunity to develop both technical skills in EITA cable, loop, and termination design, as well as personal skills in a large

international project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cable selection.
  • Allocate signal grouping.
  • Develop connection diagrams, particularly for earthing, telecom, and instrumentation.
  • Create cable Material Take-Off (MTO).
  • Develop cable schedules.
  • Conduct IS calculations.
  • Route cables in the project database (Cabsys/EIS).
  • Perform cable termination and generate loops in STIDLoop.
  • Utilize NavisWorks (3D model viewer) or E3D for cable routing design.
  • Interface with other disciplines, construction teams, suppliers, and clients.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical College education in a relevant field.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in EITA engineering on projects located in Norway, preferably in onshore locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of EIT cable design according to relevant standards such as Equinor TR’s, NORSOK, and IEC.
  • Experience with Brownfield projects, IS calculations, and using STID for cable engineering.

Automation/Senior Engineer System Design

We are seeking a skilled instrumentation engineer to work on a large EPC onshore project. The successful candidate will join a major brownfield and integration project, with the opportunity to enhance their skills in instrumentation design within a large international project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Alarm Classification Reviews.
  • Develop Alarm Classification documentation and database inputs.
  • Develop Alarm Context & Hiding documentation.
  • Develop and maintain SCD legends and design guidelines.
  • Coordinate the integration of automation scope with other modification activities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS system design activities, including System Control Diagram development, for greenfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SAS system design activities, including System Control Diagram development, for brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
  • Extensive knowledge of automation design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
  • Detailed knowledge of Equinor technical requirements (TRs).
