• Carry out procurement activities in accordance with prevailing regulations, policies, plans, and agreements.
• Develop negotiation strategies to minimize risk. • Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers for equipment, materials, and services. • Prepare documents for Invitation to Tender (ITT) and conduct tender evaluation and negotiation.
• Take responsibility for establishing the contract form. • Process purchase requisitions authorized by engineering.
• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers.
• Maintain close cooperation with PRE, fabrication coordinator, QHSE, cost control, and other internal stakeholders. • Monitor procurement reporting and ensure a clear and formal audit trail.
• Coordinate supplier quality surveillance.
• Ensure timely delivery of all required documentation.
• Manage Variations Order Requests (VORs) from suppliers, including risk control, interface management, budgeting, reporting, and approvals. • Take responsibility for closing out the procurement package, including final account settlement and conducting experience transfer/lessons learned activities.
• Handle other relevant tasks delegated by Project Managers and Project Procurement Managers.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contracting and procurement is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is a plus.
• Awareness of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) principles.
