Responsibilities:

  1. Create and engineer HVAC systems for intricate offshore installations like platforms and FPSOs.
  2. Conduct pertinent calculations for HVAC systems.
  3. Formulate HVAC diagrams and instrumentation.
  4. Employ and enhance database and design tools (specific tool training will be provided).
  5. Collaborate and interact with other members of the project team, subcontractors, vendors, and client personnel when necessary.
  6. Take part in Front End studies, system design, and equipment procurement in the EPCi phase.
  7. Design equipment and develop procurement packages in close collaboration with suppliers.
  8. Coordinate across various disciplines within the project team.
  9. Lead procurement packages and ensure thorough follow-up with suppliers.
  10. Create installation methods.
  11. Participate in testing and equipment installation.
  12. Ensure the quality of input and oversee technical data and job preparation.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
  2. Profound knowledge of Norwegian regulations and standards applicable to the field.
  3. Familiarity with various equipment, including air handling units, ducting, water cooling systems, heating systems, DX units, and sanitary/utility systems.
  4. Strong proficiency in conducting relevant calculations and/or 3D modeling.
  5. Experience in assessing, specifying, and technically supervising cooling/refrigeration and ventilation systems.
  6. Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  7. Possesses a solution-oriented mindset and excels in communication and collaboration.
  8. Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  9. Proficiency in Mips and Time. Knowledge of Autocad, Microstation, and E3D/PDMS is advantageous.
  10. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team, with a strong attention to detail.
