The Johan Castberg project involves a large FPSO currently undergoing its final construction and commissioning activities at the Aker yard in Stord.
Task and Responsibilities Description:
As the Commissioning Engineer for Process & Mechanical, your role encompasses the implementation, planning, and execution of all completion activities within the P&M area of the Johan Castberg Project. Key responsibilities include:
- A strong emphasis on HSE, ethics, and alignment with Equinor’s values.
- Ensuring Quality Assurance within your area of responsibility.
- Developing and implementing Commissioning procedures and coordinating Commissioning activities.
- Creating and maintaining schedules to define Commissioning scope for all contractors, and overseeing their planning and execution of commissioning tasks.
- Executing, coordinating, and monitoring Commissioning activities within your area of responsibility.
- Managing ProCoSys implementation, continuously updating it, and providing personnel training on its usage.
- Addressing queries throughout all project phases.
- Collaborating with the Basis organization and Operation/Technical Integrity to develop project-specific improvements for the area and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Participating in handover activities to Operation/Technical Integrity.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in preparatory and execution phases.
- Longer relevant experience may compensate for a lower level of formal education.
- Detailed knowledge of Company technical requirements (TR-documents), work processes (ARIS), and tools (ProCoSys) is preferred.
Personal Traits:
- A strong team player with a high focus on HSE.
- Prior experience in Commissioning.
Language:
- Proficiency in English.
