Job Responsibilities:
- Function as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) overseeing the AFP (Active Fire Protection) and miscellaneous safety equipment packages.
- Assume technical responsibility for the procurement packages related to safety, including deluge skid, water mist, hydrants and hoses, portable equipment, safety showers, first aid kits, etc.
- Prepare and issue technical requisitions and datasheets for IDC (Issue for Design Change), inquiries, and purchase orders.
- Conduct technical evaluation of received bids.
- Arrange and conduct bid clarification meetings (BCM) and kick-off meetings.
- Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with relevant instructions, procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Greenfield or Brownfield offshore detail engineering projects, specifically related to the listed work tasks.
- Experience in the Norwegian Sector.
- Detailed knowledge of Equinor requirements (TR2237) is preferable.
