Candidates without NORSOK-experience or valid norwegian workingpermit will not be considered Startup: January 2024 We are seeking a proficient automation engineer to contribute to a substantial modification project involving the integration of new modules and adaptation of existing brownfield components on an onshore installation. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of a major brownfield initiative, providing an opportunity to enhance their automation skills in an international work setting. Key Responsibilities: Undertake automation design for new modules, encompassing tasks such as System Control Diagram (SCD) creation, Function Specification (FS) development, signal lists/software reporting, Context & Hiding diagrams (C&H), Alarm classification, etc., spanning from the early phase to detailed engineering. Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and reviews within the automation discipline. Engage in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) software. Collaborate on Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) software. Participate in User Factory Acceptance Tests (UFAT) and Equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (EFAT) with equipment contractors to ensure the required SCADA interface with other equipment packages and control systems. Develop and maintain an engineering database for SCADA software reporting and Last Client Instruction (LCI) requirements. Qualifications: Education: Possess a Bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Completion of Ex course and FSE course. Work Experience: Acquire a minimum of 8 years of experience in automation engineering for greenfield projects located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with at least 6 years of experience in control system design activities, including System Control Diagram development, from greenfield projects. Deep Knowledge: Demonstrate experience and profound knowledge of automation design in compliance with relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC. Collaboration: Maintain a cooperative working attitude and adaptability to a multicultural team environment.
