We are in search of a proficient automation engineer to become a part of a substantial EPC project.

The suitable candidate will become a member of a significant greenfield project and will have the chance to enhance their skills in relation to the design of unmanned process facilities, which demands a substantial level of self-sufficiency in design.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Coordinating system design tasks linked to autonomous solutions
• Establishing/Updating principles for autonomy in design and ensuring the implementation of such principles throughout the design development process.
• Developing, revising, and enforcing principles for automated testing, verification, and maintenance.
• Ensuring that process design solutions are compatible with automated functions.
• Ensuring that platform equipment is suitable for remote and/or automated maintenance to the highest possible extent.
• Participating in/Leading interdisciplinary design meetings and following up on action items.
• Assessing design alterations in relation to design autonomy.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Completion of Ex course
• Completion of FSE course

Professional Experience:

• At least 8 years of experience in automation engineering within greenfield projects situated on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Familiarity with Operation and Maintenance of Process facilities
• Experience in testing, verifying, and commissioning process facilities
• Extensive knowledge of automation design adhering to relevant standards like NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

• Effective communicator, skilled in both written and spoken English
• Cooperative work approach and adaptability in a multicultural team environment
• Capability to work autonomously as well as within a team
• Methodical and precise, with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality criteria
