We are seeking a proficient heat trace engineer to join our team for a significant EPC project. The ideal candidate will become part of a major greenfield/brownfield initiative, presenting an opportunity to enhance their skills in electrical heat trace design.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting calculations, selecting, and overseeing the design of heat trace cables.
  • Monitoring and designing heat trace requirements based on P&IDs and project solutions.
  • Inputting, updating, and maintaining information in the heat trace engineering register.
  • Generating heat trace ISOs using Aveva E3D.
  • Updating heat trace MTOs.
  • Participating in meetings between fabrication and engineering.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical College qualification with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in onshore and offshore facilities.
  • EX course (to be renewed every 5 years). If the candidate lacks an EX certificate, the course must be completed promptly
  • FSE course.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical heat trace design for onshore and offshore projects.
  • Proficiency in electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
  • Familiarity with Aveva E3D and NavisWorks.

Qualifications:

  • Effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Collaborative working attitude with acceptance for a multicultural team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Systematic and accurate, demonstrating high adherence to deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Proactive approach, seeking advice and sharing experiences.
