We are seeking a senior instrument engineer to join a significant new construction project in the offshore oil and gas industry. This project involves a large, unmanned EPC greenfield facility. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to enhance their skills within a dynamic international project environment, specifically focusing on systems and package follow-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing, coordinating, and overseeing instrumentation packages and systems.
  • Acting as the technical lead (PRE) for various instrument packages, including Control-, Choke-, and Anti-Surge Valves packages.
  • Managing communication with instrument vendors and reviewing their technical documentation.
  • Ensuring that vendor information necessary for project progress is identified and effectively communicated.
  • Conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and vendor surveys.
  • Creating and completing engineering documents and data registers.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines and suppliers to facilitate seamless interface.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Completion of Ex course.
  • Completion of FSE course.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in field instrumentation, particularly in greenfield offshore oil and gas or offshore wind projects.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in PRE activities and responsibilities within greenfield projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of instrumentation design in accordance with relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.
