Jobdescription:
- Creating and engineering HVAC systems tailored to intricate offshore installations, such as platforms and FPSOs.
- Conducting pertinent calculations for HVAC systems.
- Formulating HVAC instruments and flow diagrams.
- Employing and enhancing database and design tools (specific training on tools will be provided).
- Collaborating and harmonizing efforts with fellow project team members, subcontractors/vendors, and clients when necessary.
- Engaging in Front End studies, system design, and equipment procurement in the EPCi phase.
- Designing equipment and generating procurement packages in close collaboration with equipment suppliers.
- Orchestrating multidisciplinary activities within procurement packages and overseeing supplier follow-up.
- Developing innovative installation approaches.
- Taking part in equipment testing and installation processes.
- Ensuring the precision of technical data and job preparations.
Qualifications and Background:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with various equipment, including air handling units, ducting, water cooling systems, heating systems DX units, or sanitary/utility systems.
- Proficiency in applicable calculations and/or 3D modeling.
- Thorough understanding of Norwegian regulations and standards related to the field.
- Previous involvement in assessing, specifying, and providing technical supervision for cooling/refrigeration and ventilation systems.
- Proficient in Autocad, Microstation, and E3D/PDMS.
- Fluent in both Norwegian and English, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a pertinent discipline.
- Solution-focused mindset, along with exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail, as well as in a collaborative team environment.
