Thorough understanding of corrosion protection. Familiarity with relevant standards (NORSOK, EN, ISO, ASTM, ASME, etc.). Desirable Competence: IWE or IWI certification is not mandatory, but advantageous. Possession of FROSIO certificate for coating and/or insulation is not mandatory, but advantageous. Experience in NORSOK and North Sea projects. Effective communication skills and a proactive approach. Job Tasks: Materials selection and assessments for both onshore and offshore projects. Technical assessments related to surface protection and insulation of piping and equipment. Addressing technical inquiries concerning material and welding metallurgy. Providing technical insights to and overseeing equipment suppliers. Supplying technical assistance to other disciplines throughout all project phases.
