Job Duties:
• Oversee and manage a team of stress engineers, collaborating with various departments and external vendors.
• Conduct stress analyses on critical piping systems, including centrifugal compressors and high-temperature boilers, using Caesar II software.
• Collaborate closely with process and other teams to address complex stress issues related to Flow-Induced Vibrations (FIV) and various dynamic scenarios.
• Demonstrate proficiency in standards such as Norsok, various API, ASME standards, and NEMA-SM23.
• Work closely with piping and pipe support designers, offering guidance on pipe routing.
• Ensure that all analyses adhere to relevant standards and meet deadlines and quality requirements.
Educational Background:
• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Professional Experience:
• Have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in EPC new build projects.
• Demonstrate expertise in centrifugal compressor calculations, particularly NEMA and API standards.
• Be a proficient user of Caesar II software for stress calculations.
• Have experience in handling static and dynamic analyses, including slug and surge calculations.
• Be capable of creating stress calculation spreadsheets in Excel.
Qualifications:
• Preferred experience in offshore and fabrication settings.
• Strong familiarity with Equinor TR requirements (if available) and a solid understanding of multiple disciplines.
• Display a cooperative work attitude and the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
• Possess proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written.
