We seek a proficient automation engineer for engagement in a significant EPC greenfield oil & gas venture. The ideal candidate will integrate into a pivotal new construction project, with the chance to enhance skills in automation systems engineering, contributing to the SAS package team focused on an unmanned process platform.

Responsibilities entail:

• Designing systems, managing interfaces, and overseeing Safety and Automation Systems as directed by the SAS team lead
• Assessing technical package documentation for SAS
• Generating and finalizing engineering documents and data registers
• Liaising with various disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Monitoring and participating in Hardware and Software tests at supplier sites and Aibel Yard. Travel will be required.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Work Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in automation engineering for green field projects
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in automation and SAS system design, with responsibilities in SAS systems, SAS/automation network solutions, and PRE in green field projects
• Proficiency and extensive knowledge of automation design and networks adhering to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC

• Proficient communicator in English, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Methodical and precise, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards
