We are currently looking for an experienced Prefabrication Coordinator specializing in welding disciplines for office in Bergen.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for welding methods, as well as technical clarifications for NDT and pressure testing on our installations.
• Assist Installation Lead Onshore with method support for offshore welding operations, as well as follow-up and ordering of our subcontractors.
• Assist the project with review of documentation, ensuring compliance with all requirements related to welding, NDT, and pressure testing.
• Develop prequalification for hot work and calculate correct burn time.
• Participate in surveys during study and realization phases offshore.
• Plan campaigns and revision stops in relation to staffing, equipment, and technical clarifications.
• Develop the basis for establishing logical sequences in project plans.
• Ensure good anchoring of philosophy in the customer’s operating organization and create good cooperation for implementation of chosen solutions.
• Collaborate with the customer’s offshore operating organization and engineering for good tie-in solutions to existing systems.
• Establish the basis for plan sequences.
• Provide input to installation philosophy and methods for assignments/projects.

Qualifications:

• Welding trade certificate.
• Good knowledge of technical documentation, ISO, 2D.
• International Welding Inspector IWI-S NS 477.
• Relevant experience and/or additional education can compensate for lack of a trade certificate.
• 5 years of relevant experience in design and installation.
• Experience in methods and philosophies for installation and system testing.
• Desired: Equinor systems, e.g., SAP. Experience as welding inspector/QC coordinator, NDT, and pressure testing.
