Electrical – Senior Engineer, Stavanger

The company is delivering exceptional services across Maintenance & Modification, Operation & Technical Services, Larger Projects, Studies, and System Technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Technical Specifications for Electrical systems (PRE).
  • Create single-line and block diagrams, including cable interconnection lists.
  • Conduct Electrical calculations (FebDok, Heat trace, Illumination, etc.).
  • Prepare MTO and MDL Vendor Follow-up, handling technical clarifications and documentation.
  • Coordinate deliverables with other disciplines and suppliers to manage project dependencies.
  • Participate in design, constructability, and safety reviews.
  • Generate Study reports.
  • Develop documentation and procedures for prefabrication and installation.
  • Conduct offshore surveys and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and offshore testing (SAT) as needed.
  • Monitor planning dates and milestones.
  • Assist project management with project plans and cost estimates.
  • Adhere to the company’s HSE guidelines and QA objectives.
  • Contribute technical solutions to reduce CO2 footprints and explore standard solutions.
  • Ensure discipline deliverables comply with work processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Formal higher education degree in Engineering. A combination of a “teknikken”/bachelor’s degree and technical experience (fagbrev gr.L etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with prevailing regulations such as ATEX/NORSOK/IEC, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of switchgear, transformers, VSDs, and electrical motors is preferred.
  • Preferable experience with ProArc and IFS.
  • Experience with engineering in Maintenance and Modification projects.
