Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a package engineer overseeing mechanical packages.
Conduct mechanical equipment studies, encompassing design, selection, and assessments.
Adhere to applicable procedures and work instructions in the execution of tasks.
Prepare and issue technical requisitions and datasheets. Conduct technical evaluations of supplier quotations.
Establish technical connections with suppliers, customers, and other technical disciplines.
Participate in inspections and witness testing of equipment packages.
Oversee package-related activities during installation, mechanical completion, and commissioning.
Evaluate and respond to technical queries and non-conformance requests.
Identify and report any additional work resulting from changes in the scope of work.
Review and approve supplier documentation. Contribute technical input to engineering registers.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards pertaining to the supplier’s scope of work.
Ensure the timely delivery of equipment and final documentation.

Required Education:

Hold a minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Required Work Experience:

Possess a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience.
Demonstrate experience in multidisciplinary engineering.
Be familiar with NORSOK and Norwegian acts and regulations.
