Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
• Maintain technical integrity for electrical systems.
• Verify and approve technical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical systems.
• Promote and implement safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Participate in relevant networks and technical forums
• Develop and maintain inputs to the business management system (BMS) within the discipline.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and processes.
• Understand and deliver business improvements in accordance with LEAN principles.
• Some travel may be expected.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Trade certificate in the electrical field is advantageous.
• Proficiency in both English and Norwegian communication.
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical power systems in one or more of the following areas: generator systems, frequency converters and motor starters, switchgear systems, ignition source control, ATEX, electrical system analyses, strategies and procedures, NORSOK and IEC standards.
• Knowledge of design and operation of HVAC systems.
