Key Responsibilities:

• Developing system designs for Electrical systems, including communication typicals, I/O-list, FS, SCD, and HMI input.
• Monitoring system design for electrical automation systems within Electrical equipment packages.
• Crafting solutions in accordance with client specifications.
• Overseeing vendors and their technical documentation, and participating in test activities such as UFAT/FAT.
• Ensuring that vendor and engineering information necessary for project progress is identified and communicated effectively.
• Acting as an interface between various disciplines, suppliers, and clients.
• Completing engineering documents and maintaining data registers.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in automation engineering within greenfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in SAS system design activities, including SCD development for PDCS systems in Norwegian Continental Shelf projects.
• Proficiency with communication protocols like Profinet and IEC61850.
• Familiarity and thorough understanding of automation design as per relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNV, and IEC.
