Job Responsibilities:
The project involves modifying an existing onshore LNG plant and consists of two primary components:

Sustaining plateau production by installing a new Feed Gas Compressor Module.
Decreasing emissions by incorporating power from the shore and installing an Electrode Steam Boiler module into the existing LNG plant.
As a member of the Process Safety team, your responsibilities will include conducting process safety evaluations. This encompasses tasks such as flare design, flare radiation, passive fire protection, and assessing upset conditions concerning equipment design and dynamic effects.

Specific tasks include:

Evaluating the flare system, including sizing Pressure Safety Valves (PSV) and blowdown.
Conducting flare radiation studies.
Assessing passive fire protection.
Developing process datasheets for equipment, valves, and instrumentation.
Creating Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Issuing a comprehensive Flare Report.
Defending the work in design reviews and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs).
Performing safety evaluations for the existing onshore LNG plant.

Education:

MSc or BSc with necessary experience.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in FEED and EPC.
Experience in Greenfield or Brownfield projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) or Norwegian onshore Oil and Gas facilities.
In-depth knowledge of NCS requirements (NORSOK, Ptil/PSA) and Equinor requirements.
Experience with Process Safety Evaluations, including flare system capacity, radiation, PSV sizing, HIPPS, and design pressure.

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and meticulously, as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
Multidisciplinary understanding.
Proficient communication skills in English, both oral and written.
Proficiency in Norwegian communication is advantageous.
Strong commitment to deadlines and quality requirements.
