Language: Norwegian language is preferred, but not mandatory. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.

Education: Relevant Bachelor or Masters degree

Duration: 2 Years

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in engineering within modification projects, preferably with Equinor as a client.
  • Experience in serving as a discipline lead within the field of instrumentation.
  • Experience working independently in multidisciplinary modification projects with responsibility for detailed engineering of instrument deliveries.
  • Advantageous to have experience from offshore surveys or similar activities.
  • Strong familiarity with Equinor’s requirements, specifications, and work methodology.
  • Broad knowledge and experience within the field is desirable (understanding of design and engineering of instrumentation and associated control systems).

    Tasks:
  • Responsible for deliverables within the discipline in proposals, studies, and execution projects.
  • Estimation and planning of workload within the discipline.
  • Develop design documentation and technical solutions for field instrumentation.
  • Prepare and provide technical documentation according to customer requirements and specifications, and update customer databases with metadata.
  • Develop and create work documentation for installation.
  • Specify and order necessary materials, bulk, and package purchases.
  • Package ownership for procurement of instrumentation and technical follow-up of equipment suppliers.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines internally within the project and with the customer. Requirements: MS Office Desirable: Microstation, Equinor’s systems (STID, Procosys, SAP, ARIS), Febdok Advantageous, but not mandatory A need for someone who can maintain an overview while also performing detailed work within projects. Valid Ex and FSE courses.
