Work Tasks:

• Define and articulate technical and quality criteria for the re-bundling of Centrifugal Compressors.
• Serve as the Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for mechanical equipment.
• Assume responsibility for overseeing rotating equipment.
• Evaluate supplier offers and manage the follow-up on packages.
• Conduct inspections and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
• Stay abreast of applicable rules and regulations.
• Maintain active engagement and communication with suppliers.

Education: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
• Proficiency in EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects.
• Knowledge and experience with rotating equipment and the role of Package Responsible Engineer (PRE).
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering (BSc, MSc, PhD).
• Leadership experience and competence in a job leader role.
• Previous experience with rotating equipment.
• Background in mechanical engineering for modification projects on the Norwegian continental shelf is advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for mechanical equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of technical requirements from Equinor and other customers.
