Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assess process simulations
- Initial and detailed process design
- Perform calculations and sizing for piping, valves, and process equipment
- Develop P&ID, line lists, and design reports
- Collaborate on projects within multidisciplinary teams
- Actively participate in HAZOP, design reviews, etc.
Education:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a process-related Engineering field
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in the NCS
- Experience with EPCIC, FEED, and early study projects
- Proficiency with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNISIM, and/or Flarenet
- Familiarity with offshore process and utility systems and process control
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including NORSOK, PSA, API standards, etc.
Qualifications:
- Competence in simulation – preferred
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
- Collaborative working attitude
- Systematic and accurate approach to work
- High commitment to deadlines and quality requirements
- Proactive, seeking advice, and sharing own experience with others
